Upload main image here: ![]() Here I am taking on West Brom´s Iglesias Borja Valero in Sunday´s 1-1 draw ![]() ![]() | Our new manager Tony Adams definitely knows how to manage his players and we´re all happy that he got the job. Harry [Redknapp] and Tony have been working together for a long time and they have the same understanding of football, so things haven´t been that different. The training has remained very similar to how it was under Harry and Tony has been able to keep the great team spirit which we have at the club. It is always hard to lose a great manager. Harry brought me to Fratton Park but sadly people come and go in football. It´s something you have to get used to. I will certainly miss him being around the club but you have to move on. I´m not surprised he´s done so well since he went to Tottenham. With an experienced manager like Harry and the good squad they have at Spurs I think he was only ever going to do well. When players are down he knows what to do to bring them back up again. That has helped us a lot at Pompey and we all thank him for it. Tony Adams is good at building you up as well. He spoke to me after the Liverpool game when I gave away a penalty and we lost 1-0. It helped me to get over the disappointment. He has been a great support to all the players. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
